AstroBrain takes your real rig, your real observing site, your horizon, your saved targets and the next 14 nights, and answers one question: what should you image tonight, and why?

The “why” is the point. Scores open up into the inputs behind it — visibility, moon, conditions, how well the target actually fits your optics — so you can disagree with the plan instead of just trusting it.

AstroBrain is designed, built and maintained by Hussam Ahmed — one person, working on it directly. There is no team behind it and no company.

As it stands today, AstroBrain has:

• no ads and no sponsored targets;
• no third-party analytics or tracking scripts — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels. AstroBrain does record its own anonymous diagnostic events, so it can tell when something breaks;
• no paid tier — nothing in the app is held back behind a payment;
• no forced sign-up: you can plan a night without an account. Some surfaces are account-scoped and do ask you to sign in — the logbook, capture import, saved rigs and target lists — because they are private to you.

That is a description of how the app is built right now, not a promise about forever. If it ever changes, this page changes with it.

• Tell me what is wrong. A bug report, or a number that does not match what you got at the eyepiece, is the most useful thing you can send.
• Tell me what is missing. Equipment that is not in the catalogue, a workflow that does not fit how you actually image.
• Pass it on. Mention it to your imaging club or forum — AstroBrain has no marketing budget, so word of mouth is the whole distribution plan.
